GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An adult and a child are displaced after a house fire in Green Bay caused about $50,000 worth of damage.
Crews were called to 2009 Preble Avenue around 6 p.m. Sunday for a report of a fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters saw smoke coming from several first floor windows.
All occupants self evacuated safely.
The fire was quickly extinguished and brought under control in less than 10 minutes.
The family pet was rescued and returned to the owner.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
