STURGEON BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Sturgeon Bay police released the name of the man who was pulled from the water near the Door County Maritime Museum last week.
The body has been identified as 23-year-old Aleksander Hill of Sturgeon Bay.
Preliminary autopsy findings do not indicate foul play, police say. The Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office will make a final determination on cause and manner of death upon final autopsy results and police investigation.
Hill’s body was pulled from the water between the Michigan Street Bridge and the Maritime Museum around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Video surveillance of the area captured Hill entering the water around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
