NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — No one was injured in a fire at Neenah Foundry, the company said Friday.
The fire was reported around 8:10 p.m. Thursday, the company said. It took about three hours to put the fire out.
“The safety of our employees and the community is our highest priority,” Neenah Foundry said. “The building was evacuated immediately in accordance with our emergency procedures, and all personnel were accounted for.”
Neenah Foundry and local firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire. The company is also working to assess the extent of the damage.
Neenah Foundry is well known for products including manhole covers that line streets around the U.S. and the world.
