ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay’s airport is making it easier for out-of-town Packers fans to support their team.
American Airlines is adding round-trip flights from GRB to three cities for Packers games at Lambeau Field:
- One flight departing from Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) on Thursday, Sept. 11, to correspond with the Thursday Night primetime matchup with the Washington Commanders. The return flight will be on Friday, Sept. 12.
- One flight departing from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) for the Monday Night matchup against the reigning Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, arrives Monday morning, Nov. 10 and returns the following day on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
- An additional two flights departing from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) for the Sunday, Nov. 2 game against the Carolina Panthers. Both flights will arrive on Saturday, Nov. 1 and return on Monday, Nov. 3.
“We appreciate our partner airlines and the work they put into bringing additional flights to our community,” said Green Bay airport director Marty Piette. “Lambeau Field is a top destination for football fans, and we are proud to be the first stop for visitors as they experience Green Bay and the surrounding Northeast Wisconsin area.
GRB encourages travelers to check airlines’ websites for new routes and dates as they plan getaways for seeing their favorite teams in action during summer training camps and regular season games.
