(WTAQ-WLUK) — A Fond du Lac man has been indicted for alleged sex crimes involving minors.
On Tuesday, a three-count federal indictment accused Ricardo Diaz, 26, of sex trafficking a minor on two occasions in March 2025.
Ortiz is also facing charges for allegedly using a computer “to attempt to persuade, induce, and entice a minor to engage in unlawful sexual activity.” Officials say that crime occurred on or about April 8.
If convicted of any of the charges, Ortiz faces a mandatory 10 years in prison and up to a lifetime of incarceration. He may also be fined up to $250,000 and would be required to register as a sex offender.
