(LEARFIELD) – Outfielder Jake Bauers doubled with the bases loaded to give the Brewers a lead they would hold in Wednesday’s 6-4 win over the White Sox at Chicago.
Milwaukee has won three in a row.
Jared Koenig got the win in relief, and Trevor Megill locked it down in the ninth for his third save.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Jake Bauers 2-run double in the sixth.
Murphy said that the team got a lot of contributions from the bullpen.
Murphy said that it’s not often you use 7 pitchers in a game.
The Brewers had to go deep in the bullpen after starting pitcher Tobias Myers was pulled after 2 innings.
The Brewers go for the sweep of the series behind rookie Chad Patrick this afternoon against the White Sox.
