Dehumidifier appears to cause fire at Manitowoc home

MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Manitowoc fire says no one was injured after a dehumidifier caught on fire in the basement of a home.

Crews were called to the 4400 block of Knuell Ct. early Friday morning.

Everyone inside the home was accounted for.

No dollar loss is available.

Firefighters are stressing the importance of working smoke detectors.
