GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay school district is seeking alumni nominations for its inaugural Hall of Fame Induction.
The GBAPS Education Foundation is looking for alumni across its high schools: East, Preble, Southwest and West.
Nominees of distinguished alumni have or are making honorable contributions to their professions and the larger community.
In order to qualify for this recognition, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a graduate from GBAPS
- Must have graduated high school a minimum of 20 years before being nominated
- Must exemplify the values of the District including equity and integrity
Nominations are currently being accepted until May 31, 2025
Inductees will be notified in July 2025. The induction ceremony into the Hall of Fame will be held in October 2025.
Founded in 1856 with the opening of the Sale School, the Green Bay Area Public School District is more than 160 years old. A unified school district of 92 square miles, it covers the city of Green Bay, all of the village of Allouez, the village of Bellevue, the town of Scott, as well as part of the towns of Ledgeview, Eaton, Green Bay and Humboldt.
