Justin Sedin, Senior (Poplar, Wis./Northwestern), Firstbase of UW-Stout
Sedin went 8-16 (.500 Batting average, .600 on-base percentage, and 1.063 slugging percentage) with three home runs, 10 RBI and eight runs scored in a four-game series against UW-Eau Claire April 5-6. He worked three walks and was hit by a pitch. In game two on April 5, Sedin went 3-4 with three RBI and three runs scored with two home runs. In game two on April 6, he went 3-4 with four RBI and four runs scored and another home run. Sedin is No. 19 in NCAA Division III with eight home runs. Fielding, he had 20 put outs and no errors.

Mancino helped lead Colorado College to a 3-0 weekend in Texas against Southwestern University (Texas), UW-River Falls and UW-Stevens Point. She racked up hat tricks in each game, including a season-high four goals against UW-River Falls on April 6. She finished with 20 draw controls, 10 goals and four assists.

Griege compiled 39 saves in three games for the Pointers during the week. She had 15 saves against UW-Stout on April 2, 12 saves against No. 18-ranked Colorado College on April 4, and 13 saves in a win against Southwestern University (Texas) on April 6. Griege currently leads the conference in saves per game with an average of 14.56 saves per contest.

Patterson had a strong performance across four games at the Illinois Wesleyan University Invitational held April 5-6, leading the offense with six hits. Over the course of 11 at-bats, she posted a .545 batting average. Patterson had a home run, double and drove in four runs. Defensively, she posted a perfect fielding percentage.

Zygowski earned the save in both games of a doubleheader sweep at Lake Forest College (Ill.) on April 3. She pitched 4.0 scoreless frames over the two games with six strikeouts and just one hit allowed. Zygowski fanned four in 3.0 shutout frames in game one. Then in game two, she struck out two in a hitless inning. Zygowski is tied for the conference lead with five saves this season.

Benoy won his No. 1 singles match 7-6 (2), 7-5, one of UW-Stevens Point’s tiebreak wins, in the conference opener at UW-Eau Claire on April 5.

Ulrich and Van Fossen won both of their doubles flights in the Warhawks two duals during the week. Against Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) on April 5, the pair were the only doubles win for the Warhawks, with a 7-5 victory. Ulrich and Van Fossen then clinched the doubles point on against Coe College (Iowa) on April 6, winning their second flight 6-4.

Stefan Klechefski, Senior (River Falls, Wis./River Falls), of UW-Eau Claire
Klechefski had a pair of top finishes at UW-La Crosse’s Ashton May Invitational on April 5, winning the 100-meter dash in 10.52 seconds and placing second in the 200-meter dash. His 100-meter time ranks No. 11 in NCAA Division III and leads the WIAC. Klechefski’s performance helped pace the Blugolds to the team title at the meet.
