APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A commercial fire occurred Sunday in Appleton causing an estimated $75,000 in damages.
At approximately 10:35 a.m. firefighters responded to reports of visible fire coming through the roof at 500 N Superior St.
Upon arrival, crews noticed fire exuding from the roof of a detached utility building located on the property.
The fire was successfully taken down in 30 minutes by Appleton Fire Department and assisting fire companies.
No injuries were reported to civilians or the fire crews.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Damages to the building and contents are estimated to be $75,000.
