OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Three people are displaced after a house fire in Oshkosh.
Just after 11 a.m. Thursday, crews were called to a structure fire at 307 W. 9th Avenue.
When crews arrived on scene, they saw smoke coming from the second floor.
The fire was contained to the second floor which sustained major smoke, heat and fire damage. The first floor of the home sustained water damage due to firefighting efforts.
Due to the amount of the damage, the house is uninhabitable, displacing a family of three. The family is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
