ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The first road closure connected to the NFL Draft begins Saturday morning.
At 7 a.m., a stretch of Oneida Street will close so crews can begin building the massive draft stage. The closure extends from Lombardi Avenue to Stadium Drive. Armed Forces Drive will also close at the same time.
Both closures are expected to last several weeks until May 10. Ashwaubenon Village Manager Joel Gregozeski says the initial Oneida Street closure will span the block of Lambeau Field from Lombardi Avenue to the stadium parking lot’s southeast corner.
“After a few weeks of that initial buildout of the stage, you’ll start to see sequencing on Lombardi,” Joel Gregozeski, Ashwaubenon Village Manager, said. “So, there will be eastbound traffic restrictions on Lombardi Ave starting as early as mid-April. That will also affect South Ridge by the Titletown District, between Titletown and Lambeau.”
The Village of Ashwaubenon listed upcoming road closures related to the draft on its website. They are as follows:
