Green Bay Phoenix Women fall in NCAA tournament to 5th-seed Alabama

COLLEGE PARK, MD (WTAQ) — The 22-game winning streak of the UW-Green Bay Phoenix Women is over.

Their fantastic run came to a halt Saturday as fifth-seeded Alabama defeated 12th-seeded Green Bay 81-67.

Maddy Schreiber scored 14 points for the Phoenix, who finish the year 29-6. Aaliyah Nye scored 23 points and Zaay Green added 22 for Alabama.
