(LEARFIELD) – Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy has decided who will start at shortstop this season.
The departure of Willy Adames leaves a gaping hole in the lineup.
Murphy says Joey Ortiz will be the starter after playing third base last season.
Brice Turang had put in some innings at the important position but he will remain at second where he won a Gold Glove award.
Turang is sitting out some action right now with shoulder fatigue but he should be ready for Opening Day.
Turang said that he’s going to rest his arm some.

Isaac Collins had a 3-run home run for Milwaukee.
Brewers pitcher Elvin Rodriguez allowed 4 runs on 6 hits over 3 2/3 innings.
Tyler Alexander allowed 5 runs on 7 hits over his 4 innings of work.
The Brewers take on the Chicago White Sox Wednesday afternoonn.
