TOWN OF TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A home in the town of Two Rivers caught fire Thursday night, displacing residents and causing an estimated $250,000 in damage.
Shortly before 8:30 p.m., the Town of Two Rivers Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 7218 County Road O.
When crews arrived on scene, heavy smoke and flames were visible from the roofline of the residence. Firefighters quickly ensured no residents or pets were in the home.
Multiple agencies worked to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported. The family was displaced from their home.
Officials believe the fire originated in the chimney area of the woodburning fireplace. Damage is estimated at $250,000.
