TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One man was arrested Tuesday after a standoff in Two Rivers.
The incident began around 4 p.m., when police received information that a person involved in a domestic disturbance was located at an address on the east side of the city.
Two Rivers police officers and deputies from the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office responded to the residence, where they remained for approximately 45 minutes until the man exited the home.
He was arrested and transported to the Manitowoc County Jail on several domestic violence offenses, drug offenses and a probation warrant. Formal charges have not yet been filed.
Officials say at no time was there a danger to the public. An investigation is ongoing.
