MANITOWOC COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Manitowoc Public School District Board of Education is seeking input from parents, staff and the community, as the search begins for the next MPSD superintendent.
The online survey is designed to help the MPSD board identify key priorities and qualities for the next superintendent.
The online version of the survey, which is also available on the superintendent search page, will remain open through February 17. Community members can also request a physical copy of the survey by contacting the superintendent’s office at 920-686-4783, and return it by February 14.
In a statement, MPSD Board President Christopher Able said, “We value the voices of our community, and this input will help shape the leadership profile and interview process.”
“Selecting the right leader is critical to the success of our students, staff and district as a whole.”
Community members can also help the search by volunteering to meet with superintendent finalists when they are chosen by the MPSD Board of Education.
The board encourages the entire community to participate in the process to help identify the best applicant that aligns with the district’s vision and values.
