MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Chelsea O’Donnell pleaded not guilty Wednesday to second set of drug charges she faces in Marinette County.
O’Donnell, 27, has a status conference Thursday on both sets of charges in Marinette County. No trial date has been set in either case.
O’Donnell, the daughter of comedian Rosie O’Donnell, also faces drug charges in Oconto County. A Feb. 5 plea hearing is scheduled in that case.
In Oconto County, she faces five charges, including possession of methamphetamine, based on evidence from an Oct. 11 traffic stop.
“Chelsea reached into her right front pants pocket as we were attempting to grab her, and threw what we found later to be a meth pipe towards the Oconto River. Chelsea attempted to throw it over the fence and into the river, but failed. The meth pipe hit the fence and bounced back on the sidewalk, breaking,” the complaint states.
In the Marinette County case, O’Donnell called police on Sept. 10, and dispatch could hear people arguing.
Police arrived. During a search of her, police located a meth pipe with drug residue. She also turned over pills and meth hidden in her bra. Police searched the home.
“The inside of the house was disgusting; throughout the house I saw rotten food, dirty moldy dishes, milk that stunk so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, used female hygiene products, unclean underwear with physics [sic: feces] and blood stains, and used razor blades on the floor. The living conditions in the house were horrible,” the complaint states. “I then went into the child’s room that was off of the kitchen. On a nightstand, I observed a blue box; and in that box, I observed several hypodermic needles. Some of the needles were used and had dried blood in them… Under a baby crib, I located a black and silver digital scale, some used gem bags with white residue, and a sharps container that had more used and unused hypodermic needles.”
Five additional charges, including methamphetamine possession, were later filed in Marinette County.
