(LEARFIELD) – Badgers recording-setting running back Montee Ball is a Class of 2025 inductee into the College Football Hall of Fame. The announcement was made on ESPN Wednesday.
Ball tied Barry Sanders’ record with 39 touchdowns in a season and during his time playing football for Wisconsin he set records for total career touchdowns with 83 and career rushing downtowns with 77.
He currently works as a clinical outreach ambassador and recovery coach.
Ball gives public addresses concerning his battles with alcoholism, anxiety, and depression.
UW’s Scannell Big Ten Rookie Of Week … 3rd Time:
University of Wisconsin freshman hockey standout Maggie Scannell has been named the WCHA Rookie of the Week. This is the third time Scannell has received the honor this season. The freshman forward has scored at least one goal in each of the Badgers’ last five two-game series. She has 10 goals and a dozen points. Scannell and her teammates are on the road this weekend in Minnesota for a series against St. Thomas Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
