CHIPPEWA FALLS – Wisconsin Farmers Union is excited to host two training sessions to help prospective candidates run for local office. As local County and Town Boards across Wisconsin face challenges in finding competitive candidates, these trainings will offer a valuable opportunity for individuals interested in running to gain the tools they need to succeed.
About the Event:
The training will feature a session from Wisconsin Progress, an organization dedicated to supporting grassroots campaigns. Their expert team will walk through the key steps in launching a successful campaign—from developing your platform, connecting with voters, and raising the necessary funds. In addition, attendees will hear firsthand experiences from a panel of WFU members who have run for local office, sharing valuable lessons learned and practical tips.
