(LEARFIELD) LAS VEGAS – Air-tight defense and a triple-double by Giannis Antetokounmpo were the big factors in the Bucks winning their first NBA Cup title.
Milwaukee held the Oklahoma City Thunder to 31 points in the second half of a 97-81 win Tuesday night.
Bucks coach Doc Rivers said they never doubted that this was possible.
Giannis Antetokounmpo praised his teammates for their strong second half to pull away for the win.

Antetokounmpo scored 26 points, took down 19 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists.
Lillard added 23.
The Bucks led by one point at the half, 51-50, then roared past what had been one of the hottest teams in the NBA.
The regular season resumes Friday night for Milwaukee in Cleveland against the Cavaliers.
