(LAWRENCE ATHLETICS) MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Lawrence University men’s hockey team dropped a 2-0 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association decision to MSOE on Saturday at the Kern Center.
The Raiders scored once in the second period and once in the third to account for all the scoring.
Cole Beilke gave MSOE a 1-0 lead on a power-play goal at 13:45 of the second. The Raiders added a goal from Eddie Shepler at 9:45 of the third to complete the scoring.
Spencer Northway made 17 saves to pick up the shutout for MSOE (1-2-1, 1-1-0 NCHA). Nolan Mahaffey stopped 20 shots for the Vikings (2-2-0, 1-1-0).
Lawrence won the opening game of the series Friday with a 3-1 victory at home.
