(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers host the Penn State Nittany Lions Saturday night at what is expected to be a raucous Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
Badgers coach Luke Fickell in preparation for Saturday’s game said that the Badgers are doing a better job of taking advantage of turnovers compared to earlier in the season.
Penn State hasn’t turned the ball over much, fumbling only 3 times and losing 1 and throwing 5 interceptions.
And the offensive line which has been doing a good job of opening holes for running backs like Tawee Walker and providing protection for quarterback Braedyn Locke will be facing a tough Penn St. defensive front.
The Badgers are averaging 4.8 yards per carry and have allowed only 6 quarterback sacks. Penn State, meanwhile, has 14 quarterback sacks and has allowed opponents to average just 3.2 yards per carry.
Fickell also talked about the advantage of playing third-ranked Penn State at home as opposed to playing them in Happy Valley.
The game is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 Saturday night.
