MADISON – Rachel LaCount has been named WFBF’s Director of Foundation and Sustainability Communications. LaCount has served as WFBF’s Director of Sustainability Communications and Partnerships since June of 2021.
“Rachel excels at showcasing our members’ stories and has been a great asset in building WFBF’s communications efforts within the sustainability space,” said WFBF Executive Director of Public Relations Amy Eckelberg. “I am confident she will apply those skills to enhance the efforts of Wisconsin Farm Bureau’s Foundation, as well.”
In her role, LaCount will continue to be the primary lead on the organization’s sustainability efforts, including working with media, overseeing WFBF’s 35 Under 35 program and regularly contributing to Gather Wisconsin. Additionally, LaCount will assume communications functions within the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation. She will work with the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation Director to build brand awareness for the Foundation through social media, print and website strategies.
“I am excited to use my skills and experience to grow my role in supporting Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation’s esteemed programs,” said LaCount. “The Foundation is sustaining the future of agriculture by setting up leaders for success and I look forward to elevating these stories.”
