TOWN OF RICHMOND, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Authorities say they have found new evidence in the 2013 disappearance and death of a woman in Shawano County.
Heather Szekeres was last seen in June 2013 at a bar in downtown Shawano. Her remains were discovered a year later west of town. No arrests have been made in the case.
On Thursday, Shawano police, Shawano County sheriff’s officials and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation returned to the Peach Road site where her body was found. DCI cited new leads in the case, and said investigators found additional evidence.
