(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers shut down the New York Mets Saturday night 6-0 at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
After Jared Koenig pitched the first inning, Tobias Myers pitched the next 4. He was followed by 4 other relievers in pitching the Brewers to the win.
Koenig and Myers allowed the only hits the Mets got. Myers improved to 9-6 overall and lowered his ERA to an ever 3.00 with the win.
Jackson Chourio and Willy Adames both had 2 hits for the Brewers while Joey Ortiz drove in 3 runs. Andruw Monasterio drove in 2 runs.
The Brewers and Mets will play this afternoon in the series finale. The pre-game show starts at 1:35 with the first pitch slated for 2:10 on 1360 and 97.5 WTAQ.
