(LEARFIELD) – One player can make all the difference. NBA columnist Wes Goldberg of RealGM points to veteran Khris Middleton.
He says for Milwaukee to get back to the NBA finals Middleton has to rediscover the magic of his youth.
He just has to play the way he did in a few games in the postseason earlier this year.
The 33-year-old Middleton has had injury problems but, while his team was trying to win with both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard out of action, Middleton was performing like old times.
He averaged 24-point-7 points, 9-point-2 rebounds, and 4-point-7 assists a game.
He’s the key, says Goldberg, for the team to play for the title.
