(LEARFIELD) – One of the new Bucks, Taurean Prince, is expected to offer the team good production off the bench.
Milwaukee lacked depth last season while Prince was playing for the Lakers. He also had some good years with the Atlanta Hawks.
The 30-year-old Prince stands six-foot-six and is a good scorer and passer.
He has career averages of just over 10 points and three-and-a-half rebounds a game, hitting almost 40 percent of his 3-pointers last season in Las Angeles.
He has a history of missing games with injuries, but he played 78 games last season.
He’s No. 2: CBSsports.com is busy with NBA pre-season players rankings.
Yesterday the list of Top 10 big men was released with the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo listed second on the list.
As noted by Brad Botkin in the story, Giannis is 1 of 3 NBA players to more than 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists per game over multiple seasons. Wilt Chamberlin and Oscar Robertson are the other 2.
Denver’s Nikola Jokic is listed as the top big man with Joel Embiid the No. 3 “big”.
