OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — History in motion is making its way to Oshkosh.
The Military Vehicle Preservation Association is bringing its 49th annual convention to the EAA grounds.
The MVPA has nearly 3,500 members in 83 chapters worldwide.
This year, it’s featuring a “Reflections of Vietnam” display.
“We’ve got a vehicle dating back to WWI that was actually built here in Wisconsin for the U.S. Army in WWI. Lot of WWII vehicles will be here, a number of Cold War-era vehicles, Vietnam-era vehicles, so there’s gonna be a lot to see here. A lot of unique things that people won’t see anywhere else,” said volunteer convention planner, John Schroeder.
The convention is Thursday through Saturday.
