APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) –The Appleton Common Council advanced the development of Thrivent’s proposed 600-acre campus.
On Wednesday, the common council granted approval of land use for the project.
Thrivent is developing a master plan for its campus located in Appleton between Ballard Road and Meade Street, north of I-41.
According to a future land use map, the development will include several residential housing warnings, commercial and industrial and mixed-use spaces, a central business district, public parks and open areas and ponds/water.
Thrivent first announced in May 2023 it was considering selling the land as the company’s space needs decreased.
