Green Bay Phoenix women’s Horizon League schedule released

(GREEN BAY COMMUNICATIONS) INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League announced this morning the 2024-25 Horizon League women’s basketball schedule. Green Bay begins its slate of conference contests by hosting IU Indy on December 4, which is scheduled for a 6 PM tipoff. GB will play 20 conference games, 10 each on the road and at home.

Following the IU Indy contest, Green Bay will have a pair of HL road games, first at Purdue Fort Wayne on December 7. The Phoenix will look to remain unbeaten against the Mastodons in 2024-25, entering the season 12-0 against PFW.

GB will battle in-state rival Milwaukee in the Cream City on December 11 and then won’t see another Horizon League team until January 2, 2025, when they welcome Northern Kentucky to the Kress Center. The New Year’s homestand will conclude with Wright State on Saturday, January 4, a team that the Phoenix boast a 73-7 (.913) record against.

Other schedule highlights include a rematch of last year’s Horizon League Championship Game against Cleveland State on January 30 and a two-game homestand against MKE (Jan. 22) and PFW (March 1) to end the regular season.

Season tickets will go on sale to the public in the upcoming days. The complete women’s basketball promotional schedule will be announced at a later date.

The Horizon League tournament starts with first-round action on March 5 hosted at campus sites.
