Colin Rea who is 8-2 with a 3.34 ERA will start for the Brewers.
Pittsburgh has not yet named its starting pitcher.
The Brewers are in a good spot heading into next week’s All-Star break.
The team remains first in the NL Central at 53-and-38. The Cardinals have surged lately, winning seven of their last 10 and trail the Brewers by four-and-a-half games for first place.
Only two-and-a-half games separate the Reds, Pirates and Cubs.
