MARINETTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Bryan Korpal pleaded not guilty Monday to a charge of making terrorist threats for allegedly threatening to enter a county office with an AR-15.
No trial date was set. Korpal returns to court Sept. 24 for a status conference, court records show.
According to a news release from Marinette County District Attorney DeShea Morrow, Korpal threatened to come to the Human Services building with an AR-15 on May 9, and “made the sound of racking the slide of a firearm while on the phone with social workers. As a result of Korpal’s statements, the employees located at Marinette County Department of Human Services building were placed on high alert.”
