MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — In Milwaukee County Court on Monday, a verdict in the murder of a transgender woman.
Cordell M. Howze, 33, of Neenah was found guilty of first degree intentional homicide after fatally shooting 31-year-old Cashay Henderson in February of last year and after setting fire to her Milwaukee apartment, where firefighters found her body.
Jurors also convicted him on charges of arson and possession of a firearm by a felon.
He’s to be sentenced on August 9.
