Elvis Peguero gave up the game-tying homer in the eighth inning, while Joel Payamps got the loss after surrendering the game-winning run in the 10th.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy said it was a great pitching effort by his team.
Murphy said the Brewers just couldn’t get the key hits.
Andruw Monasterio drove in the team’s only run as Milwaukee remains first in the NL Central at 36-and-25.
They’ll try to salvage the series this afternoon. The game can be heard beginning at 2:30 on 1440 and 101.9 WNFL.
