TOWN OF GROVER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two people were killed in a weekend crash in Marinette County.
Sheriff’s officials say the crash was reported just after 1 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of highways B and W in the town of Grover, between Peshtigo and Coleman.
Investigators determined a vehicle driven by a 46-year-old Pembine man was headed south on Highway W. The driver ran a stop sign and hit a vehicle headed east on Highway B.
The driver, 44-year-old Elysia Kust of Coleman, and her passenger, 73-year-old Mary Kust of Coleman, were fatally injured.
The Marinette County sheriff’s office, district attorney’s office and medical examiner’s office continue to investigate the crash.
