ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The first phase of a $1 million project improving pedestrian safety near Lambeau Field and the Titletown district is now complete.
Reconstruction of the Lombardi Access Road started at the beginning of April. Improvements to this area included a 27-foot wide asphalt travel surface, 24-inch wide curb and gutter on both sides, an 8-foot wide sidewalk along the southside of the roadway and storm sewer replacement.
As of Tuesday, construction has moved into the project’s second phase. Work will include the installation of a 5-foot wide sidewalk along the north side of Brookwood Drive from Argonne Street to the east side of Marlee Lane. Pedestrian crosswalks are also being placed across Argonne Street, Lombardi Access Road and Marlee Lane.
The entire project is expected to be complete in August. For more details, click here.
