GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Downtown Green Bay’s Hyatt Regency and KI Convention Center have been sold.
Everwood Capital Partners says it has bought the properties from Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
The properties will be managed by Scarlett Hotel Group. Everwood and Scarlett Hotel Group merged in January.
Plans call for renovations to “enhance guest experiences and modernize facilities.”
“This stunning property, nestled near the picturesque shores of Green Bay and in close proximity to iconic landmarks such as Lambeau Field and the Riverwalk, presents an exciting opportunity for us,” Robbie Thomashow, vice president of acquisitions at Everwood, said in a statement. “We are committed to revitalizing this venue to create unforgettable experiences for local events, including meetings and weddings, and to cater to the diverse needs of our guests utilizing the expansive 100,000 square feet of adaptable meeting space. We are especially thrilled to be hosting next year’s NFL draft, among other prestigious events.”
The hotel will continue to operate under the Hyatt brand as a franchisee.
Jessie Shelby will continue as general manager.
