The vehicle was spotted driving through a construction zone and three intersections, failing to stop for traffic signals.
Even after the officer activated their emergency lights, the vehicle did not pull over and continued to drive about 65 mph through areas in the northeast portions of the city.
After losing sight of the vehicle, the pursuit was terminated in the area of E. Johnson Street and Weis Avenue.
A short time later, a Fond du Lac County’s Sheriff’s Office deputy observed the vehicle in the area of Martin Avenue and E. 9th Street and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the vehicle again failed to stop and continued at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle stopped near E. Division Street and S. National Avenue and a high-risk traffic stop was conducted by Fond du Lac police officers and county deputies.

Police say they are recommending the following charges: Two counts Fleeing from an Officer, and Throwing or discharging bodily fluids at public safety workers, operating while intoxicated 1st offense, failure to stop at a stop sign, operating after suspension, and imprudent speed.
