OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Pro-Palestinian protesters marched on the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh campus Tuesday as the war in Gaza continued.
Demonstrators called on the university to cut ties with Oshkosh Corporation because of a connection to the ongoing conflict.
The protest was organized by the Oshkosh Student Socialist Association and co-sponsored by the UWO College Democrats, Students for a Democratic Society and Disability Advocates.
A group of counter-protesters was also present.
A spokesperson says the university will soon issue a statement.
