GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A 16-year-old boy was hospitalized after a shooting on Green Bay’s east side.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested and police recovered a gun believed to have been used in the shooting.
The victim was expected to survive.
Investigators believe the shooting may have been the result of a previous dispute involving the two.
Police say the shooting happened near the intersection of Mills and Village streets around 12:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, two schools were locked down for a time Friday afternoon while police searched for suspects.
The Green Bay Area Public School District said Preble High School and Danz Elementary were in “secure the building” status.
Police are planning extra patrols at Preble and the surrounding area next week.
