GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A new member has been appointed to the Green Bay school board.
During a special meeting Monday, the Board of Education, by a 4-2 vote, selected Reginald “Rick” Crosson to fill the open position. Crosson was one of 15 people who applied and one of six candidates interviewed Monday.
He is replacing Laura Laitinen-Warren, who resigned Feb. 24. She was appointed to the board in 2021 and elected to a three-year term in April 2022.
Crosson will finish the remainder of her term, which ends April 2025. At that point, the seat will be filled through a spring election.
