MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Fox Valley food pantry’s fundraising campaign has reached 80% of its goal — and you can help complete the drive and have your donation matched.
St. Joseph Food Program says it has raised $1.5 million in donations and pledges toward the first capital campaign in its four-decade history.
Miron Construction is now offering to match up to $500,000 in donations to help St. Joseph reach its goal.
“It is truly humbling to see gifts of all levels being given toward our campaign efforts. St. Joseph Food Program started as a grassroots, community-led organization, and this campaign is a testament to the fact that this community truly supports the past and future impact provided by our services.” development director Heather Du Vall said in a news release. “We are excited to see this project unfold, and to provide an even better experience to everyone who enters our doors whether they are a client, volunteer, donor, staff member, or someone interested in learning more about us. Everyone is welcome at St. Joe’s, and we can’t wait to continue this inspiring legacy.”
St. Joseph is planning a $2 million renovation of its building to meet increased need and changes in the distribution model made during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A groundbreaking ceremony is set for June.
