GREEN BAY, Wis. — Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative today announced that Paige Kirnberger has joined the organization as a sustainability project specialist to support farmers in all aspects of the Farmers for Sustainable Food Climate-Smart Program, from enrollment through data collection and analysis.
Kirnberger has a bachelor’s degree in animal science and agribusiness management from Michigan State University. In her previous role as a technical specialist for Zoetis Animal Health, she led a team in organizing and executing various studies. Kirnberger, who grew up in eastern Michigan and now lives in Sheboygan, has always been passionate about animals and agriculture. She enjoys horseback riding, reading, hiking and exploring new places.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the Edge team and to provide support to all the farmers involved in the FSF Climate-Smart Program,” Kirnberger said. “Being involved in this new opportunity to assist farmers along their sustainability journey is beyond exciting.”
As part of her role, Kirnberger will be coordinating projects that help farmers make data-driven management decisions that are best for their farms in terms of being economically and environmentally sustainable.
