Despite a season long four game losing streak, the Milwaukee Bucks backed into the NBA playoffs Sunday. Thanks to an Orlando victory and Miami loss earlier in the afternoon, the Bucks wrapped up a post-season appearance but they promptly went out and lost to the New York Knicks at Fiserv Forum Sunday night 122-109. Milwaukee had no answer for Jalen Brunson who poured in a game high 43 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 28 points with 15 rebounds to lead Milwaukee. Bobby Portis added 24 and Damian Lillard contributed 23 but Milwaukee has slipped to 47-31 on the year with just four games left in the regular season. It won’t get any easier to reach the finish line as the Bucks will host the NBA leading Boston Celtics on Tuesday night before finishing up with Oklahoma City and two games with Orlando which is now just one game behind Milwaukee for the number two seed in the Eastern Conference.
