EDEN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man died in a two-vehicle crash in Fond du Lac County.
It happened Sunday at 10:14 p.m. on County Highway B, east of County Highway K in the town of Eden.
The initial caller said one the drivers did not appear to be breathing and was trapped inside the vehicle.
Emergency responders were able to free the trapped driver and lone occupant of the vehicle. Life saving measures were rendered, however the 61-year-old Eden man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Three people from the second vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The investigation showed the 61-year-old Eden man was driving west on County Highway B and lost control of his vehicle on a portion of roadway which was snow covered at the time. The vehicle went into the eastbound lane and struck the second vehicle.
Neither alcohol nor speed were contributing factors in the crash, deputies say.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
