WRIGHTSTOWN, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A weapons incident early Friday morning resulted in a large police presence in Wrightstown.
Around 1:30 a.m., the Wrightstown Police Department was dispatched to a weapons call in the area of Longwood Lane and Nicole Lane. Once an officer located the suspected vehicle, a high-risk stop was conducted, creating a large police presence.
Authorities say the subject complied with and the situation ended without incident. Assistance was provided by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.
The Wrightstown Police Department says there is no threat to the community.
