APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The city of Appleton is hosting a public involvement meeting on a road reconstruction project.
The meeting will discuss the reconstruction of Lawe Street, between College Avenue and Wisconsin Avenue.
Discussion will focus on the design concepts for the reconstruction of the roadway and to gather public comments about the proposed project.
The project is planned for construction in the summer of 2026.
The meeting will be held Monday, March 18 at the Appleton City Hall Council Chambers, 100 North Appleton Street. It will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The meeting will begin with a short presentation of the proposed reconstruction presented by representatives of the consulting firm Ayres Associates Inc. Informal discussions will follow the presentation to discuss individual concerns regarding the project.
