ASHFORD, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A woman suspected of OWI was seriously injured in a Fond du Lac County rollover crash.
It happened around 8:48 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of County Highway W and County Highway BB in the town of Ashford.
Initial reports said a passenger car was on its side in the roadway.
When emergency responders arrived, they found the driver, a 39-year-old Campbellsport woman, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was trapped inside.
Crews were able to extricate her and she was flown to the hospital.
Officials say they believe the vehicle was traveling north on County Highway BB as the driver approached County Highway W. The driver began to leave the roadway prior to the curve, traveling into the east ditch, striking a culvert. The vehicle became airborne, before rolling several times, coming to rest in the roadway.
