MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) – We’ll know in about a month whether Wisconsin’s assembly speaker will face a recall election. The people who want to recall Assembly Speaker Robin Vos yesterday turned-in over 10 thousand signatures to the Wisconsin’s Election Commission.
They need just under seven thousand of those signatures to be valid.
The Elections Commission now has 31 days to verify the signatures, and if there are enough, a recall election will be held six weeks after that.
The Recall Vos group is angry with how Vos handled the 2020 presidential election. Vos says they have a personal ax to grind, and are wasting time and money.
